Beverage Cart

I’m still working to finish the dining room this week. It’s really coming together nicely though. Next to one of the large columns that make up the entry to the dining room is a small wall. I want to utilize the space for a beverage cart. I picked up this cart a few weeks ago at an estate sale. I almost painted it white but since my tea set is ironstone, I decided to leave it unpainted. I layered this vintage window my sister found at a tag sale a few months ago and a vintage chalkboard I found at one of my sweet shopping spots. They were both in the garage and it was time I found a place for them inside.

I placed the tea set on one of my favorite vintage napkins and silver serving trays. The silver champagne bucket is another favorite because it is so versatile.

The second layer of the beverage cart holds the rest of the ironstone tea set but could easily be set up with various party drinks or glasses.

I placed the rest of my silver service on the bottom alongside a cut crystal ice bucket that was gift from my parents.

If you don’t have a beverage cart you could use a small dresser or metal cart to create a drink station of your own. The great part about this little cart is that it can be used for tea service, hot chocolate and coffee during cold weather months, or dinner parties. I love that it’s on wheels. I could even roll it out to the front porch and use it as a breakfast cart or use it on the back porch as a drink and snack station when the littles come to visit.

A must have for all seasons.
