I bake at least once a week and during the holidays sometimes it’s two or three times a week. So the other day, I was getting out my materials to make cookies.
After working several weeks straight without any real break, this Feel Good Friday finds me taking a much needed break. I’m giving myself a gift and taking the entire day off.
I hope you guys are enjoying a relaxing three-day weekend. I’m working on projects in the kitchen now that it has been completely repainted. I thought it would be fun to take a look back at last year’s tablescapes in case you need last minute ideas.
When we first started this series I was all but certain by the time we got to the front porch portion mine would be boarded up with hurricane shutters. While there has not yet been a need for said shutters, it has rained for three solid days.

Happy Independence Day! Today is the last day in the Patriotic Inspiration Series and it’s been so fun to take a look back and celebrate with coastal style.
This coastal flag project was one of my favorites from last year. It was simple and easy to make.
Well, we made it. There was a lot of laughter and a lot of tears but we made it. I’ve shared some really special moments with my family these past few days.
