From the Front Porch
Happy Friday, from the front porch! We’re excited to be spending time with you today.
Thanks so much to everyone who checked on us and sent us sweet messages last week. It was definitely a rough one and we appreciate you so much.
Things are a lot better this week which is a huge blessing. We actually have 2 major milestones to celebrate this weekend. One is a financial goal we’d set and met.
The other was finishing all the recertification course work and testing for my graduate degree in counseling. Oh my word, it felt like it took FOREVER to complete everything!
While blogging, writing, painting and helping people create a home they love will always be my first love, it’s important to have a back up plan no matter how great your current circumstances.
Spring and Fall are my two favorite seasons so I can’t wait to start working on projects around the house, treasuring hunting and feeling like I have a life again ?

My bestie S who helps run the TCG website was set to speak at a huge tech conference next week which was canceled out of an abundance of caution given the number of attendees. Podcast We Loved This Week…
If you haven’t had a chance to hear the Duchess of Cambridge on the podcast, Happy Mum Happy Baby, I highly recommend it. While I don’t have kids (or any plans to have any) it was really fun to hear how she handles the work life-family life balance, Mom guilt, and how she learned to be more mindful each day.
