From the Front Porch

Happy Thursday from the front porch, you guys. How has your week been? I hope it’s been totally fabulous. Can you guys believe we’re just a few short weeks from Easter. We can’t either! I still have to pick up a few things for our Easter baskets which should be fun but we also have what feels like a million other things on our to do list too!

I’m just going to be honest with you guys, I think March has finally caught up with us.  We were doing SO good on all of our goals and while we’re still holding fairly strong I’m realizing it is going to take every day from now until the end of the month to reach the goals we committed to this month.  I thought after our 15K training was finished I would have lots more free time (read: white space/margin) but what I’m actually finding is that I’m having to catch up on all the small things I put off while we were training. I know you guys can definitely relate to letting small things pile up until they actually become big things, right? It happens in such a subtle way.

I’m hoping to knock off a few big things both business wise and personal wise in the next few days if for nothing else, peace of mind.  If you find yourself scrambling this week to “get it all done in time,” you’re in good company!

Here’s a peek at scenes from our week…

* We’ve been babying our peach tree since Hurricane Irma hit so we were super excited to see these new buds!

* My mom and I found THE coolest antique store the other day.

* I finally let myself have a cupcake post 15K training and it was worth the wait.

* Loving this little lady through canine dementia is really tough some days, you guys. And, yet, she fights her way through it and somehow it keeps us all going. She’s the best thing we’ve ever found on the side of the road.

* There is so much farmhouse goodness in this issue!

6 Recipes to Welcome Spring

This was a fun review of goat yoga. I am TOTALLY bummed there’s nothing like this in my neck of the woods. Although, I do live on three acres so I supposed that could be easily rectified (wink, wink).

I hope you all have a peace filled and happy weekend. We have a great week coming up next week. On Monday, I’ll share a pretty Easter centerpiece you can literally make in minutes. Tuesday, I’ll show you how to make a Spring inspired sweet treat. I can’t even believe I’m saying this already (where did the month go) but on Wednesday I’ll have a new video to share with you! We’re so close to reaching all of our March goals which is really exciting but also had us revaluating both our busy list and our blessings list. I know so many of you will be able to relate to this video. As always, we’ll see you back here on Thursday for scenes from our week and all of our favorite things from around the web.

This weekend we’ll be traveling out of town to spend time with family which should be a lot of fun. Whatever you have planned I hope it’s something you’re excited about too. I can’t wait to see you back here on Monday. Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

Many blessings,

CoCo
