Thank you for saying that, Corrie! I know it can be triggering to talk about weight and clothing sometimes so I definitely want to be respectful. At the same time, I know there are lots of people that are in similar situations so I don’t want to gloss over it either. One thing that helped me was to create a Pinterest board of the clothes/styles I loved. When I started looking for patterns I realized that while my heart loves Barbie pink, my lifestyle is better suited for classic every day preppy and comfortable clothes. It really helped to drown out some of the noise and made shopping a lot easier too. Cheering you on as you explore new styles and a new found confidence too. Your body does amazing things as a Mom and I hope you’ll find a way to treat yourself and celebrate. Big hugs, CoCo

Sometimes thinking we have to organize the entire closet at once can feel daunting but taking everything in small sections like clothes, shoes, purses and accessories definitely feels doable. PS: I have similar feelings about my closet and clothes. My pre-kiddo wardrobe is now out-of-style, and it doesn’t fit my lifestyle (I work from home), but I’m struggling to figure out what my style is now–nothing fits or feels right at the stores. Bleargh.
