From the Front Porch
Happy Friday from the front porch! We’re excited to be spending time with you today.
How was your week?
Did you struggle with the time change at all?
We definitely did. I swear, it took me all week to adjust. And while I had ZERO time to nap, I wanted to SO bad ?
I’ve spent a good portion of the week just trying to catch my breath. We have so many obligations and activities to try and balance this month it feels like trying to juggle while riding a unicycle.
I know a lot of you are trying to balance work life, home life and real life too!
There were a few times I just wanted to close my planner and escape to the beach for 5 minutes or wish I lived in a quaint downtown area to walk around and enjoy a coffee without being interrupted.
And honestly, after holding my toothbrush up to the soap dispenser to get some toothpaste I probably should have because there was clearly too much on my plate he he.
But then I was sweetly reminded by two of the ladies in our IG group who lost their husband and father to cancer not to “major in the minor” and it really helped to put things into perspective.
I’m definitely going to try to remind myself of these words as I work to push through everything we have going on these next few weeks and I hope they’ll help you as well.

Book We’re Reading in March…
This month we’ll be reading in March is The Next Right Thing: A Simple, Soulful Practice for Making Life Decisions (Amazon Affiliate Link) and so far, it’s been really good.
Honestly, it reads more like a daily devotional than a book because there are things so many things to be mindful about. I’ve really enjoyed it so far and I hope you have too!
