Quick and Easy Easter Vignette Ideas
We’re sharing quick and easy Easter vignette ideas today!
Late last week, I headed to Bliss Barracks to work on a few things for my Mom. Before I arrived, I asked her to make a list of the places she wanted to visit and the projects she wanted to complete while I was there so we could hit the ground running.
As always, my Mom’s list did not disappoint. I’ll be honest though, I laughed out loud when I saw the words “Fix Easter Decorations,” near the top.
When I asked her what needed to be fixed, she said, “I don’t know, it just doesn’t look right. Plus, I don’t have a lot of time to shop for anything new or get up in the attic and drag all my old stuff down either.”
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had this same conversation with friends, family members, and clients over the years.
It’s so relatable, isn’t it?
Whenever I’m running short on time or feeling uninspired when it comes to seasonal decorating, I give myself the grace to only decorate a few areas of the house.
And by decorate, I mean putting together quick and easy Easter vignettes.
After sharing this strategy with my Mom, she truly looked relieved so I wanted to share it with you as well.
Here’s a look at 3 Quick and Easy Easter Vignette Ideas anyone can do…
Spring Urn and Bunny Vignette Supplies:
- Base (needs to be weighted and sturdy)
- Urn with Flowers (We added a grapevine wreath, but you could also use ribbon)
- Bunny
- Bird’s Nest
- Moss
Spring Urn and Bunny Vignette Steps:
Lay your base down. We used a wooden tray, but you could also use a piece of salved wood, pedestal, cake stand (as long as it’s sturdy), or basket that is flat on the bottom.
Place your flowers on the back of the base. Especially, if they’re the tallest part of your quick and easy Easter vignette.
My Mom wrapped a grapevine wreath around faux tulips and placed the arrangement in a thrifted urn.
Next, add a bunny or seasonal piece of your choice.
Finally, layer in a bird’s nest or something else that is slightly smaller than the flower arrangement and the bunny.
When you’re looking for pieces to add to quick and easy Easter vignettes like this one, think about elements and styles that complement each other.
For example, the bird’s nest, moss, and grapevine wreath are all nature-inspired and rustic. While the bunny statue, urn, and tulips would be considered more refined.
Quick and Easy Easter Vignette Ideas – Garden Basket Supplies:
- Wire flower basket
- Moss
- Daffodils (We found these at Michaels)
- Flowerpots
- Scoop
- Seed Packet
- Jute
Quick and Easy Easter Vignette Ideas – Garden Basket Steps:
Fill a wire flower basket with moss. This step will be messy, so you’ll want to do it outside if possible.
Next, place your daffodils (or flowers of your choice) in small clay flowerpots to one side of the basket.
We found these daffodils in the spring section of Michaels and even the bulbs look real!
On the other side of the basket, snuggle a scoop into the moss as if you were digging it up.
Then lay a few extra flower or daffodil stems over the moss like you’ve just picked them out of the garden.
Finally, lean a seed packet up again the basket in between the daffodils and the scoop.
This quick and easy Easter vignette is such a fun one because you could easily add a note and leave it on the front steps of a friend, family member, or neighbor, or on the desk of a coworker to surprise them!
Hydrangeas and Cabbage Easter Vignette Supplies:
- Large Bowl
- Cabbage (We found these at Michaels)
- Hydrangeas
- Bunny
- Floral Foam
- Ribbon
Hydrangeas and Cabbage Easter Vignette Steps:
Place a piece of floral foam in the bottom of a large bowl.
We didn’t have any on hand, so we had to use a metal cup for these shots but my Mom is heading to the craft supply store to pick some foam up today 😉
Then place a bunny or seasonal décor item of your choice on top of the foam.
Add a ribbon around the bunny’s neck if you like.
Next, layer in the faux cabbage stems
and the hydrangeas stems until you’ve made your way around the entire bowl. We used pink hydrangeas but you can use any color that best fits your style.
While this quick and easy Easter vignette idea has more of a cottage-style feel than the others, the pink and green really make it festive.
It’s great because you can dress it up or down depending on the flowers you choose and it’s relatively small so you can use it on a coffee bar, kitchen island, buffet, tabletop, or even on a bookshelf!
I know sometimes it feels like we have to go all out when decorating for the holidays. But it’s not worth stressing yourself out over!
So, choose the specific areas of your home you love or use most. Then create seasonal vignettes that make your heart happy. You might use one of these quick and easy Easter vignette ideas or you might have them sprinkled all over the house.
It’s up to you!
We hope these spring vignette ideas have helped to take the pressure off just a bit. Let us know how you’re decorating this year!

Many blessings,

Sometimes when I have more decor displayed, my favorite elements seem to get lost. So I really appreciated your approach to Easter decorating. The Easter Vignette makes such a fabulous statement all by itself.
I can completely relate to that sentiment, Heidi! I think that was part of my Mom’s problem too. She had lots of things she loved all over and they just needed to be corralled and streamlined. It’s super easy to get off track. Especially, when you love so many different seasonal styles. Hope your Spring is off to a great start. I can’t believe we’re already into the middle of the month! Big hugs, CoCo
My goodness CoCo…these are all so pretty!!! I too agree that sometimes all you need is a few small displays here and there but when you create them in such a caring way, those displays make such an impact. I’m so inspired by all your dreamy photos and I love the way you write. Thanks so much for sharing these!!
I really appreciate it, Rachel, thank you so much! I know we all have super busy seasons where we feel like we barely have time to get anything out and then other seasons we have plenty of time and money to get exactly what we want and need. Either way, it’s a fabulous opportunity to get creative! Hope you’re having a great week so far, CoCo
These are all lovely CoCo. Yes, a couple of vignette in key paces is all it takes sometimes. Thank you for the seasonal inspiration. Pinning! XO- MaryJo
Thank you for your kind words, MaryJo – that’s exactly what I told my Mom too! I think sometimes we think we have to have stuff everywhere and all the things decorated. But there is something to be said for leaving a little extra room to appreciate each seasonal vignette and the way it complements the spaces that are most important to us. Hope your spring season is off to a great start so far, CoCo
CoCo,
each one of these vignettes are so adorable. I’m glad you got to spend some quality time with your mom. Treasure every moment.
Thank you, Rachel! I’m so glad we had a chance to be together and to streamline some of her spring decor items and create fresh vignettes. She loves a lot of different kinds of styles so it was fun to work with her and to help her find a seasonal look she really loved. Big hugs, CoCo
All great ideas, but I love the first one best! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen
That was our favorite too, Kathleen! My Mom liked it so much she put it on her kitchen island which was really sweet. It definitely has a simple elegance to it. Hugs, CoCo
CoCo,
I love all of your spring decoration ideas. I have been searching for faux daffodil flowers with bulbs. I have only one faux flower and bulb and with need to make another trip to Michaels. These days you have to check often because their shipments have been slow with delivery. Love your porch too. I need to make a few changes to mine this year. You have such great inspirational ideas for everyone.
Thanks so much for all your sweet and kind words, Tammy, I appreciate them so much. The spring section in our Michaels store was almost bare so I was shocked when they had the daffodils at my Mom’s store. I wish I would have brought home so extra because they looked so real! I know Amazon has some real-looking daffodils but they don’t have the bulbs attached just in case you need a backup plan. Hope your spring season has been a fun one so far, CoCo
The faux plants and veggies that are available now are amazing! The daffodils and bulbs look so real and so does the cabbage! Thanks for the encouragement to go easy on the seasonal decor when necessary! Holidays are for celebrating, not stressing 🥰 Pinning!
I couldn’t agree with you more, Cindy! We definitely need more quick and easy in our lives, especially after everything we’ve been through these past few years. No matter how you choose to do it up big or small, I say do whatever brings you the most joy. We need more of that in our lives too ❤ Hope you’ve had a blessed week, CoCo
