Christmas Inspired Entry
Today, we’re excited to share our Christmas inspired entry. This time of year is one of our favorites because there is so much inspiration floating around the web right now. We’ve had the chance to be a part of several blog hops this holiday season and it’s always fun to be able to promote and partner with follow creatives.
If you need to catch up on any of the blog hops we’ve been a part of so far you can check out these posts:

We’ll have more coming up, but I wanted to make sure you guys had to chance to visit everyone. The Christmas and holiday inspiration have been fun to enjoy!
Given the entry recently got a fresh makeover we decided to keep our Christmas décor super simple. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely wanted the entry to feel like the holidays, I just didn’t want it to compete with all the trimmings on the front porch.
A few days before Thanksgiving, my Mom was super sweet to come and help me decorate everything on the inside and the outside of the house too. The back of her SUV was filled with all sorts of goodies including this tree! It’s a great size for a Christmas inspired entry and would be fun on a covered porch, or in a kitchen.
Changing out the pillows on the bench in your entry, the couch in your living room or the pillows in your bedrooms is a really quick and simple way to give your home a festive feel without a lot of extra effort. We usually chose fabric patterns that will last throughout the winter months and not just through the holiday season.
As you guys know, our heart speaks in neutrals around here, so we picked up all the fabric for the pillows at the same time at Joann Fabrics. We don’t have a lot of extra places to store pillows so, each season, we make new pillow covers because we can lay them flat and easily store them in baskets.
Speaking of baskets, if you guys have a lot of presents that you need to haul or mail to different cities labeling baskets like this with the specific place the presents need to be sent will help save you time trying to sort through them all.
We normally leave presents grouped closely together and piled up by the tree and then the week before we need to ship them or take them to a party, we place them in a basket like this and double check all the gifts we need are ready to go.
You could also consider using vintage inspired feed sacks like this one to haul your holiday goodies to parties or the post office too.
We’ve used this greenery swag in different places for the past few years and we still love it. In fact, we have these swags above the pictures in key spaces throughout the house. They’re great to use because they add a bit of festive charm without taking away from the pictures they highlight.
If you guys need a last-minute gift idea and have some extra time, consider making vintage inspired signs like this one for Christmas. Signs are simple and inexpensive to make. Bonus, they can be easily customized specifically for your recipient with a name, quote, song lyric or special word of the year.
That’s all I have for now. I hope these tips for creating a simple Christmas inspired entry have helped!
I’ll see you guys back here tomorrow. We’ve had a lot of people visiting the house lately, so I’ll share how we keep it smelling like Christmas. Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
Many blessings,
CoCo
