My Favorite Podcasts
I’m sharing my favorite podcasts today!
One of the questions I get asked on a regular basis is how I manage to stay so positive and encouraging.
While I’ve always been a fairly optimistic person, the truth is that I get down in the dumps just like everyone else.
As an introvert with an anxiety disorder, I can very easily get caught up in my own head.
Especially, if something doesn’t work out the way I thought it would. Or if something unexpected comes up and I’m forced to pivot for whatever reason.
I could literally talk myself into anything and out of everything!
Customizing Your Toolbox…
Over the years, I’ve learned which tools in my toolbox are most helpful and I work to saturate my heart and home with those things.
Things like…beautifully organized and clutter-free cozy spaces, morning quiet time, self-development books, seminars, retreats, encouraging friends and family members, uplifting spiritual practices, and maintaining a positive mindset are all an integral part of my daily life.
Given our thoughts turn into feelings and our feelings turn into action (or inaction), I know firsthand how important it is to be aware of our thoughts and feelings at any given time.
After all, our thoughts become our reality!
I used to make time for my favorite podcasts on my commute to work.
Now that we’re in a post-pandemic world and I’m no longer driving into the office though, I’ve had to find other ways to listen to my favorites.
Most of the time, I listen to a podcast during a morning walk on the treadmill, on lunch break, while cleaning the house, folding laundry, or taking a bath.
Depending on who you listen to podcasts (like music) can instantly lift you up and help you see things in a fresh way.
Here are a few of my favorite podcasts and listening devices…

I know my favorite podcast list is a long one. I hope you’ll find something that resonates with you no matter what season of life you find yourself in right now though.
As a recovering perfectionist, I still get analysis paralysis at times.
Especially, when I feel tired or overwhelmed.
I know clarity comes from action though.
So, I acknowledge the thoughts, feel the feelings, and find a way to work through the situation before any negativity or bitterness takes root.
Podcasts are a great way to gain fresh perspectives and create mindset shifts that last.
Investing in yourself is not always easy.
It definitely takes effort.
But the transformation is always worth it.

I have literally been looking for podcast ideas to listen to at lunch. These sound perfect. I’m starting one today. Thanks for sharing these!
Aww you’re so welcome, Susan, happy to help! I know this is way out of the norm of things I usually share but it makes my cleaning days go a lot faster so I wanted to pass it along in case it might help someone else. Hope you find something that resonates. Hugs, CoCo
These all sound great. I’m saving this list. Taking care of Peanut right now is the priority. Chas told me now I need to focus on her, my health and updating content.
I don’t know how you have time with kids and a house. I write and do mostly everything myself. John helps with the backend of my blog.
I get overwhelmed with how much there’s to do and I have anxiety-driven depression, MS, and OCD.
Always amaze me lady!!
I’m totally with Chas, Cindy. Peanut and your health definitely need to be your priority right now. It’s hard when there is so much to do and it all feels urgent. I get overwhelmed just like anyone else, I’ve just learned how to let things go. While it’s not always easy, I truly believe that anything that is meant for you will be there when the time is right and you’re ready to receive it. Sending you and Peanut lots of hugs, CoCo
CoCo – I am bookmarking this post for future reference. You listed SO MANY great podcasts. I like to listen to them on Sundays when I am working on making projects/content and when I am on long drives. For example I am driving to Maine in June and its a good 5 hours each direction. Thanks again for sharing such helpful information with your audience.
Audiobooks are great in the car too, Anna! We listen to them on the way to the cabin and it makes the line ride not seem so bad. Now if I could just get Piper to sleep…Hope you find something you like. Hugs, CoCo
